Turn Your Story Into a Script That Can Sell
Strategic adaptation for authors, writers, and creators ready to develop their stories for film, television, or vertical series. We transform novels, short stories, and concepts into industry-standard screenplays designed to move forward.
Built with a clear understanding of how stories are structured, developed, and positioned for the screen.

What This Is
From Story to Screen
Most writers don't realize their story isn't ready for film or television—not because it isn't good, but because it isn't structured for the screen.
We take your existing work and adapt it into:
- Feature film scripts
- TV pilots
- Vertical series scripts
This is not just writing—it's strategic adaptation built with the current market in mind.

Behind the Studio
About the Founder
Founded by Makeda Tene, Story to Screen Studio is built for authors, writers, and creators who know their story has screen potential but need help shaping it into an industry-ready format.
Makeda is a bestselling author of dozens of books, a producer, and a creator developing scripted projects for film, television, and vertical platforms. She is represented by Ramo Law (Los Angeles) and works in industry-standard Final Draft. Her approach blends story craft, structure, character, and market awareness — a clear understanding of what makes a story translate from page to screen.
The goal is not simply to write a script—the goal is to shape a project that feels clear, compelling, and ready for the next stage of development.

The Difference
What Makes This Different
A novel, short story, or idea cannot simply be copied into script format. Screen adaptation requires structure, compression, visual storytelling, character arcs, pacing, and a clear sense of format.
We look at what your story is, what it can become, and where it belongs—so it's not just written, but positioned.
Story-first adaptation
Industry-standard structure
Market-aware positioning
